Job description

We are looking for a passionate chef to join the kitchen team of an alpine hut in Tyrol to prepare high-quality, regional dishes in a modern kitchen. If cooking is your vocation, the quality of the food is important to you and you can keep an overview even during an onslaught of hungry mountain sports enthusiasts, then you've come to the right place:


Your tasks

  • You support the kitchen management and the kitchen team
  • You are on duty at all kitchen stationsYou comply with hygiene and safety regulations (HAPPC)
  • You take care of the receipt, inspection and proper storage of goods


Key dates


  • Period of employment: immediately as a permanent position or for the winter season from mid-November to the end of April
  • Working week: 40 hours per week (full-time)
  • Additional benefits (free of charge): season ticket for the duration of the employment relationship
  • Salary: from € 17.00 gross/hour depending on professional experience and qualifications with the willingness to overpay, plus special payments (aliquot 13th and 14th monthly wages), bonuses and public holiday pay (the statutory minimum wage is based on the collective agreement for labour leasing)

Job requirements

  • You have a passion for food and can use this creatively
  • You have professional experience in this role
  • You have a good command of German or a good command of English with a basic knowledge of German
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have a work permit in the EU / Austria
  • You are a team player and are characterised by helpfulness and friendliness
