What does young mountain actually do?

We primarily build and maintain winter sports facilities in the Alpine region – with our brands QParks, Funslopes, Funcross, Playgrounds and Snowparks. Our employees on site receive comprehensive training at our Shape Academy or work as lift operators, in catering or other areas. We also offer unique marketing concepts, the management of our bike facilities in summer (QRides) and various other services for our customers and partners.

What kinds of jobs does young mountain offer?

You can apply for our Shape Academy, start as a cable car operator in the most beautiful regions of the Alps, take care of our bike facilities in the summer, or become part of our office team at our headquarters in Graz, Austria. Additionally – through young mountain works – we offer positions in gastronomy and hospitality, landscaping, plant construction, trades and crafts, as well as various other jobs.

What is the Shape Academy?

The Shape Academy is our unique recruiting, training and career program. Behind the name lies a concept that gives outdoor-enthusiastic skiers, snowboarders and bikers the opportunity to turn their passion into a profession.

Apply easily in just a few steps through our website. After submitting your application, we'll send you a confirmation of receipt. You'll also receive a questionnaire to fill out, which helps us get a more comprehensive picture of you. Once we've received your completed questionnaire, we'll contact you via email to schedule an interview via Microsoft Teams video call.

Step 2: The job interview

Duration: approximately 30-60 minutes Interview content: - Questions about your motivation and interest in the position - Discussion of relevant experiences and skills - Questions regarding availability and flexibility - We'll address your wishes and questions

Step 3: Job offer and onboarding

If you're selected as a suitable candidate, we'll send you a detailed offer. After you've confirmed the offer and signed the employment contract, we'll add you to our internal communication tool, where you'll receive all further information about the onboarding process and the project.
